Late-war 1944 gas mask canister + mask 'bmw'

A very nice original late-war gas mask canister, maker coded and dated 1944 to the inner lens compartment. The vast majority of the wartime grey/green paint remains intact. 
 
Internally, it retains the original mask (without filter) which is also dated 1944 and 'bmw' maker coded to indicate manufacture by Aluminiumwerke Nürnberg GmbH, Nürnberg.
 
Also included are the spare lenses, spring cloth retainer and some contemporary cloth material in the bottom of the can.
