A very nice example of the scarce and highly sought after Bakelite 'Benutzer' ocular cover / rainguard, as originally fitted to various models of Kriegsmarine U-boat binoculars.
This particular example is one of the dark brown coloured variations, and comes fitted with a short rubber bending bar attachment suitable for fitment to the Zeiss 7x50 armoured U-boat binoculars.
This is a guaranteed original wartime example - NOT one of the modern reproductions.
