A incredibly rare optic headrest mount for the Kriegsmarine 10x80 (20 degree) deck-mounted binoculars.
The part retains the vast majority of the original wartime shipboard grey paint finish, and is in fully functional condition.
Missing from the many of the surviving 10x80 deck mounted binoculars today- it is extremely likely that this represents one of very few, if not the only example of this key component which exists today as a spare part!
