KM High Seas Fleet Badge 'Schwerin' + EK2 'Simm & Sohne'

A wonderful pair of Kriegsmarine awards - which came directly from the estate of a British Royal Navy veteran - that have never been offered on the collectors' market until now... 
 
1) Boxed example of the KM High Seas Fleet badge (or Flotten-Kriegsabzeichen) made by Schwerin, Berlin. Like the binoculars, this piece remains in mint condition with absolutely superb gilding! You would be hard pushed to find better, especially with the original issue box! 
 
2) A lovely example of an Iron Cross 2nd Class (or Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse) with the maker mark number '93'. It comes with its original, matching maker paper packet by Richard Simm & Sohne. Unfortunately, the packet was folded up when it was found, but thankfully it still remains as part of the group!
