K98k rifle sling 'Dresden, 1939 WaA'

A very nice early-war period leather sling for the K98k rifle
 
This example is in relatively light used condition, with much of the ricasso cross-hatch pattern still visible, and remains strong and supple throughout.
 
There are visible remains of the maker's name to the inside surface, followed by 'Dresden, 1939' and an ink Waffenamt stamp. The main slider buckle is also maker coded 'L&F', signifying production by Linden & Funke KG, Iserlohn.
 
It's getting increasingly hard to find such early K98k slings in this condition and with visible markings!
