A very nice smooth black leather pouch which would have held the K98k Gewehrgranatgerät (rifle grenade launcher).
This example comes complete with its blue-grey webbing carrying strap, with 'HSB' maker marked metal tab in original blue paint.
The rear of the pouch is maker coded and dated 'dkk 42', denoting manufacture by Friedrich Offermann u. Soehne, Lederwarenfabrik, Bensberg during 1942.
A very nice piece K98k accessory and piece of frontline combat equipment in great condition!
