K98k GGG launcher pouch 'cxb42'

A very nice smooth black leather pouch which would have held the K98k Gewehrgranatgerät (rifle grenade launcher). This example comes complete with its original tan webbing carrying strap, with 'lux' marked metal tab. To the interior, the leather pocket to hold the assembly wrench is also retained.
 
The rear of the pouch is maker coded and dated 'cxb42', which indicates manufacture by Moll Lederwarenfabrik, Goch/Rheinland. A very nice piece of frontline infantry combat equipment in excellent condition!
