K98k / G41 / G43 / StG44 rifle sling 'bdr 41 WaA'

A nice early-war period leather sling for the K98k rifle (as well as the Gewehr 41/43, Sturmgewehr 44 etc). 
 
Still in good combat used condition with some of the ricasso cross-hatch pattern still visible, as well as the maker code and date marking 'bdr 41 WaA'. 
 
Also of note is the period applied white paint line - almost certainly added by the user to indicate where their ideal placement for the sling when attached to the stock. 
 
The original leather sling keeper is included, with a brass retainer stud, and the sling remains supple throughout.
 
A scarce sling to find as an early-war example with markings still mostly intact like this!
