A super rare late-war MG34/42 gunner's tool kit pouch (Werkzeugtasche) in very nice, used condition. This particular example is manufactured from captured blue/grey Italian leather and is nicely maker coded/dated 'bdt 1945' to the front closure strap, indicating manufacture by Salewa Lederwarenfabrik GmbH, München.
Given the period of production, towards the very end stages of the war, this type was never fitted with the internal dividers or tray for the AA sight etc despite the pre-cut holes.
To our knowledge there are only FOUR of this type known to survive today, so this represents a great opportunity to obtain what is surely the rarest factory-produced variation of this highly sought after MG accessory!
