Herman Goring silver table knife '800'

Something a little different to our usual offerings - an '800' hallmark silver handled table knife that bears the personal emblem of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring. 
 
This particular knife came direct to us from the bring-back estate of a US veteran in 2018; unexpectedly included inside the case of a pair of late-war tan German 10x50 Hensoldt Dienstglas binoculars, and has been residing in our own collection ever since then. 
 
A fine quality item, with clearly skillful and quality engraving of what has since transpired to the be the emblem of Hermann Göring that can be found on many of his numerous personal wares.
