Hensoldt 7x56 Dienstglas binoculars 'bmj 1942'

A set of the rarer 7x56 Dienstglas variant of the so-called 'Panzer' roof prism binoculars (albeit used by all branches of service), which were produced by Hensoldt Wetzlar under the 'bmj' maker code.
Factory finished in black with leatherette coverings to the barrels, this particular set retains most of the original finish and also comes still fitted with its leather button tab (Knopflasche), which is matching maker coded and dated 'bmj 1942'.
The optics on this pair are excellent, producing a really bright, crisp and sharp image!
Overall, a lovely original pair which remain exactly as they were found!
