Hensoldt 10x50 Dienstglas binoculars 'bmj'
A very nice set of the 10x50 roof prism binoculars which were produced by Hensoldt Wetzlar under the 'bmj' maker code.
Indeed, they were used by all branches of the Wehrmacht, but are often seen in period photos being used by Panzer crews - hence the synonymous nature of their nametag today as so-called "Panzer binoculars".
Factory finished in black paint, this particular set still retains the vast majority of the original finish.
The optics remain functional, yet would benefit from a clean, as well as retaining the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinding reticle within the right-hand side which is very often missing.
Also still fitted with the scarce, correct type of Bakelite ocular cover unique to this binocular!
A lovely example of their type that would look superb on a mannequin etc!
