A nice lightweight aluminium Patronenkasten 34 ammo can for the MG34/42, finished in the original subtle grey/brown spray camouflage pattern, typical of the early-war period.
This example is nicely Waffenamt marked and dated 1940 to the lid, along with the 'FWCo' maker's logo to indicate manufacture by Fritz Weber & Co.
All of the handles also retain the original leather cover tabs.
A very nice piece for any MG34/42 collection or combat equipment display!
