A very nice lightweight aluminium Patronenkasten 34 ammo can for the MG34/42, finished in the original grey/brown spray camouflage pattern, typical of the early-war period.
This example is Waffenamt and dated '1940' to the lid, alongside the maker's logo.
All of the hinges and handles remain operational, as well as retaining the original leather covers. A great piece for any MG34/42 collection or equipment display!
