Gestell 38 10x80 Flakfernrohr binocular tripod 'bvu'

A very nice example of the Gestell 38 optic tripod, as was primarily issued with the 10x80 Flakfernrohr binoculars, but also employed with other larger binocular variants. 
 
This one still retains the majority of the original factory tan paint, which is very scarcely seen indeed! 
 
It is clearly maker code marked 'bvu' to signify manufacture by Kuhlmann, Franz, Werkstaetten fur Praezisonnmechanik u. Maschinenbau, Hauptwerke Wilhelmshaven. 
 
An example of extreme rarity to find in this state with the original wartime applied tan paint finish!
