A very nice original example of the early-war Patronenkasten 15 model ammo can for the MG34/42 in lightweight aluminium.
This particular one is finished in an original wartime applied grey/green reissue layer, over the top of the factory-applied early 2-tone grey/brown camouflage pattern, which is very much visible when the lid is raised.
The makers logo and date of 1938 are also still visible!
A real, honest 'been there and seen it' piece of MG related equipment!
