A very nice, honest combat used example of the pre/early-war era 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars as produced by Carl Zeiss Jena.
This early example of heavy brass construction still retains the majority of the original factory-applied black paint finish and leatherette covering to both barrels.
They also retain the original leather neck strap, button tab flap and have been fitted with a non-standard set of rubber eyecups at some stage, as shown.
The tab is correct for Zeiss binoculars of this era, being marked with the 'WaA202' Waffenamt proof and as such has almost certainly been fitted on there since they were made!
