A Flak 2cm magazine storage box that has definitely "been there and seen it" - finished in the dark tan / mustard camouflage finish synonymous with tropical equipment utilised by the DAK / Südfront troops!
Internally, the box retains the factory-applied grey & red oxide primer throughout. There are also some period mounting holes on one side, clearly added to the box before the camouflage finish was applied.
This example is maker marked and dated 'bdk 1942', and Waffenamt proof stamped, as shown.
A guaranteed original camouflaged example that would be ideal to showcase amongst other similar tropical combat equipment and/or helmets etc.
