DAK camouflage M38 gas mask set 'E.G. 1942'

A stunning, original DAK tropical camouflage gas mask set in completely untouched condition! 
 
The canister is very nicely maker marked and dated 'E.G. 1942' to the inner lens compartment lid.
 
The can retains the vast majority of the pinky shade of tropical tan overpaint, which is synonymous with that found on DAK camouflage kit, over the original factory-applied dark green. 
 
The canister also comes complete with both of the original long and short carry straps, as well as spare lenses and the M38 mask, exactly as it was found! 
 
A wonderful, guaranteed original example of a highly desirable DAK camouflaged gas mask canister. An example that would make for the perfect addition to a tropical mannequin or a display of helmets etc in the same camo scheme! 
 
N.B. the last image shows another tropical camo gas mask canister, albeit of the more typical Einheitsfarbe shade, for side-by-side comparison purposes only to the more unique pink DAK shade. This can is also listed separately.
