D.F. 10x80 Flakfernrohr binoculars 'dkl'

A great set of D.F. 10x80 Flak binoculars, presented in very nice used condition and still complete with the matching rubber browpad and front sunshade attachments. 
 
Finished in the original factory tan paint throughout, this particular pair are clearly maker coded 'dkl' to indicate manufacture by Josef Schneider, Kreuznach. 
 
More unusually, they have a handpainted DAK palm tree symbol (later denazified) and 'Kist 4' (Box 4) inscription on the left prism plate. 
 
The optics remain in absolutley superb condition and produce a very clear image with an excellent field of view. The only thing which may require some slight attention relates to the integral sun filters (adjustment knob repaired), which can remain partially in line of sight if the knob is not adjusted correctly. 
 
A very intriguing set which remains in lovely condition!
