D.F. 10x80 Flakfernrohr binoculars 'bpd'

A lovely example of the D.F. 10x80 Flak binoculars which are clearly maker marked 'bpd' for C.P. Goerz, Vienna - one of the rarest manufacturer codes to find on the 10x80 Flakfernrohr, with this being the first and only example from this maker which we have had the opportunity to obtain!
The binoculars themselves appear to have been reissued in the standard mid to late-war shade of ordnance tan paint at some stage.
The optics still produce a mostly clear and collinated image, with a superb field of view as is typical of the 10x80s. Both the ocular width adjustment and sun filter dials also remain fully functional.
A rarely seen example which is likely missing from even the most focussed of optics collections today!
