A stunning pair of very rare and highly sought after Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50H naval binoculars!
In this case, a pre-war Reichmarine marked pair that would go on to see use with the KM Nordsee fleet. A variant that was a firm favourite amongst U-boat commanders during WWII, owing to the enhanced optical quality of this special 'H' (Helligkeit) model!
Still retaining all of the original leatherette covering throughout, this pair also feature intact property markings and the 'N' (Nordsee) inventory number to the right-hand prism plate.
The inventory number would very likely date this binocular to 1936 - 1 of just 500 examples produced in this order for the pre-war Reichsmarine!
As per usual with Zeiss binoculars of this quality, the view through the optics of this pair is absolutely amazing - producing a brilliant bright and sharp image, with superb depth of view!
