A very nice example of early-war 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars produced by Carl Zeiss Jena.
This one is still fitted with the button tab or Knopflasche in brown leather, as opposed to the far more common black version.
The optics remain mostly clear and usable, with very smooth focussing action and still retaining the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinder reticule in the right-hand side.
Overall, a nice and honest set by a desirable maker!
