Captured Zeiss Kriegsmarine 6x30 binocular case 'Ruhr Pocket'

An exceptionally rare case for the Kriegsmarine 6x30 binoculars, which is clearly marked 'Carl Zeiss Jena', and comes directly from the family of a British veteran. 
 
This particular model is made from the typical black rubberised ersatz material, and remains in good overall condition. 

Interestingly it is marked with the inscription 'Souvenir Ruhr Pocket' on the top, and so this case was almost certainly in the hands of Kriegsmarine forces who had been drafted into ground combat at the time of capture in 1945!
