Camouflaged 6x30 Dienstglas 'ddx' binoculars
A superb and completely untouched 6x30 Dienstglas binocular which comes exactly as it was found/discovered amongst the estate of a British veteran.
This example is clearly maker coded 'ddx' for Voigtländer & Sohn AG, Braunschweig.
Originally factory finished in black, this particular pair has gone on to receive a subtle field-applied brown/dark green camouflage overpaint, of which sizeable remnants remain intact. It also comes fitted with the original leather neck strap, as shown.
The optics remain somewhat usable, but would naturally benefit from an internal clean if intended for use. The H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinding reticle remains visible within the right-hand side.
An exceptionally scarcely seen and highly desirable camouflage painted field binocular that would be a highlight within any collection! Perfect for a mannequin setup with other camo gear!
