A nice set of early SF14 ZGi Scherenfernrohr trench periscope binoculars, finished in the early factory field grey & brown camouflage paint scheme!
This particular pair are maker coded 'eso', denoting manufacture by G. Rodenstock, Munich - one of the more scarcely found maker codes.
The optics still function to produce an image, with the focus adjusters working on both sides and the grid-pattern reticule still retained. However, they would benefit from cleaning to remove internal debris etc, and have a lens fracture (without any discernible impact on the image) as shown.
They remain a set which would certainly make for a wonderful addition to any display of optics or camouflaged combat equipment!
