A very nice, untouched example of camouflage M40 single decal Heer helmet in a beautiful hand applied grass green camouflage.
This particular example was originally sourced by us in late 2017, direct from the family of the Russian veteran who purportedly picked this up during/in the aftermath of the Battle of Berlin! His name is inscribed to the liner - 'Koponiok B.2.' - and this part still remains complete and in very nice, supple condition.
The shell itself is maker coded and size stamped 'EF62' to indicate production by Emaillerwerk AG, Fulda.
Overall, a great, honest combat lid and one which we certainly wish could talk!
