Bringback 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars 'ddx'

£225.00Price

A very nice mid-late war period example of the 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars.

Recently also discovered out of a veteran estate, this particular pair are presented in completely as found condition and retain the vast majority of the original factory-applied tan paint. Notably, the case is marked in numerous locations with the name R.J.N Neville - Sloley, Norfolk - referring to Baronet Reginald James Neville Neville who passed away in 1950.

Much more detail pertaining to R.J.N. Neville can be found via online searches.

The binoculars themselves are clearly maker coded 'ddx' for Voigtländer u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig.

The optics still work to produce a functional image, but would also benefit from an internal clean/service if intended for use.

A nice combat used condition example that would be perfect for display amongst any combat equipment / upon a mannequin setup!
