A lovely example of the 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars storage case in a very appealing speckled finish black Bakelite.
The case remains in excellent overall condition, without any damage and still comes complete with the brown (!) leather rear belt loops which are fully intact.
The front closure mechanism, clearly maker marked 'frn 41', functions exactly as it should with a strong working action.
A great example in one of the more unique, visually appealing and scarcely seen Bakelite colours!
