A very nice, 'as found' combat used example of the early-war lightweight aluminium Patronenkasten 34 model ammo can for the MG34/42.
This particular one retains the majority of the original factory grey paint - and interestingly has had field-applied markings to the exterior to signify the type of ammunition it once contained inside!
The box is visibly maker logo and Waffenamt proof marked to the lid, with all of the leather covers remaining on all of the handles.
