A very nice example of the early-war lightweight aluminium Patronenkasten 34 model ammo can for the MG34/42.
This particular one retains the majority of the original factory field grey paint over the typical red oxide primer.
The box is nicely Waffenamt marked to the lid, with all of the leather covers also remaining intact to all of the handles.
It's getting increasingly difficult to find examples in this condition!
