A very nice example of the early-war lightweight aluminium Patronenkasten 34 model ammo can for the MG34/42.
This particular one retains 95%+ of the original factory field grey paint over the typical red oxide primer.
The box is maker marked 'bsj 40' and Waffenamt marked to the lid, with all of the leather covers also remaining intact to all of the handles.
It's getting increasingly hard to find such examples in this condition!
