A very nice set of five original, late-war card ammunition boxes which would have each held fifteen 7.92x57mm S.m.E rounds for use with the Mauser K98k, MG34/42 etc.
All of the boxes are still complete with the matching factory labels, dated 1944 and with the maker code 'hrn' - indicating production by Presswerke G.m.b.H., Metgethen, Ostpr.
It is quite hard to find late-war boxes in this condition!
