A super early-war example of the 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars.
This example being one of those produced by Hensoldt Wetzlar; factory-finished in black with leatherette coverings to the barrels.
They also still come complete with the original factory-fitted leather button tab - very nicely stamped with the matching 'Hensoldt Wetzlar' logo and date of 1938!
Optically, they remain fully functional and produce a usable image - even retaining the Strichplatte rangefinder reticule internally as well!
