A very nice, cosmetically refurbished example of an early-war 6x30 Dienstglas field binocular, clearly maker coded 'E. Letiz Wetzlar'.
Typical of the quality of manufacturing during this period, this pair are constructed from heavier brass and finished in black paint with brown leatherette coverings to each barrel.
The optics produce a bright and clear image, with the H/6400 Strichplatte range reticle remaining within the right-hand side.
