6x30 Dienstglas 'ddx' binoculars

A very nice late-war period example of the 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars. 
 
This particular pair are presented in completely untouched condition and retain the vast majority of the original factory-applied tan paint. The original leather neck strap is also still fitted. 
 
They are clearly maker coded 'ddx' for Voigtländer u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig. 
 
This example still comes fitted with the original leather neck strap, complete with the tan painted attachment studs, as well as the dark red Bakelite eyecups typical of Voigtländer binoculars from this period of production. 
 
The optics remain usable but could also benefit from an internal clean/service if intended for more serious use purposes. Both focal adjustments remain operational and turn smoothly. 
 
This pair would make for a wonderful display piece perfect for either a mannequin setup or within any grouping of combat equipment!
