A fantastic, totally 'as found' cased set of the mid-war era 6x30 Dienstglas field binoculars, produced by Carl Zeiss Jena under the 'blc' maker code.
The optics remain functional and the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinding reticule is still fitted in the right-hand side.
The binoculars themselves are still fitted with the original accessories, to include the leather neck strap and Bakelite ocular cover (note one attachment loop has detached).
The case is produced from the quite rarely seen black speckled Bakelite material and retains a fully functional pull-tab and both leather belt loops to the rear.
All in a super set which would make a great addition to any display of optics or equipment etc!
