A very nice mid to late-war MG34/42 50 round drum which is clearly maker coded 'ddf', denoting manufacture by Lohmann-Werke, A.G., Bielefeld.
This particular example appears to have received a grey reissue coat at some point judging from the interior. However, the exterior retains 95%+ of the original factory-applied tan paint and displays very well!
