A truly stunning example of the late war non-reversible Wendejacke in the Splinter camouflage pattern. This particular example shows very little wear and is presented in excellent, near mint condition.
The exterior camouflage colours remain vibrant, with a very appealing variation in the shade of brown used throughout the jacket also noticable.
The jacket is nicely marked as a medium/large size '2'. Given that these parkas were designed to be large enough to fit over the standard service uniform, this piece would be perfectly suited to form the basis of a combat mannequin.
Certainly not one to be missed, and surely an example which would prove very difficult to upgrade upon!
