Named M40 textured Normandy camo helmet 'Q64'
Certainly one of those where the photos will do most of the talking...
Here we have a stunning example of an M40 combat helmet which received a hand-applied, daubed textured 3-tone camouflage finish in the so-called 'Normandy' scheme - incorporating the classic colours of tan, green and red/brown.
The helmet retains much of the original textured field grey Raulack paint finish, along with the original factory fitted liner. The rear skirt is visibly inscribed with the surname "STEIN", as shown.
The shell itself is also maker coded and size stamped 'Q64' to indicate production by F.W. Quist G.m.b.H., Esslingen.
The perfect example if you're after a true 'one look' original camo helmet, particularly in one of the most sought after camo schemes, where you will never have to worry about authenticity!
