Named M40 ex-SD Heer wire camo helmet 'NS64'

£0.00Price

Certainly one where the photos will do most of the talking...

Here we have a stunning, completely untouched example of an ex-SD Heer M40 with wartime applied half-basket chicken wire camouflage net attached.

The helmet retains much of the original textured field grey Raulack paint finish, along with the original factory fitted liner and the short chinstrap section. The liner is nicely inscribed "Sandvoss Na. Zug", as shown.

The shell itself is maker coded and size stamped 'NS64', indicating production by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte.

The perfect example if you're after a true 'one look' original wire helmet where you'll never have to worry about it's authenticity!  As well as being a must-have variant in any serious collection of German combat helmets!
