A scarce pre-war AA extension pole (Lafettenaufsatzstück) for the MG34/42 Lafette tripod.
This one has had the post-war green overpaint stripped at some stage to return it back to bare metal; in turn revealing the early Weimar style proof mark, which preceded the later standardised style of Waffenamt marking.
The ideal accessory to add to any MG34/42 display or for use with a Lafette tripod to convert it to an anti-aircraft setup.
