Late-war wood soled canvas boots

A nice matching pair of late-war wooden soled boots, made from variety of materials - including white canvas and leather in numerous shades.
 
Much conjecture has surrounded who/where these boots were produced, however, original wartime newsreel footage from 1945 exists and shows this same model in use by frontline combat troops!
