Deactivated K43 'duv 1944'

£0.00Price

** ON HOLD ***

A real rarity within the UK - a Karabiner (Gewehr) 43 - the iconic semi-automatic rifle as developed and used by German forces from mid 1943 to 1945; which was produced by three separate factories; Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik, Walther and the Wilhelm Gustloff-Werke.

This particular example was manufactured by the Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik (BLM) plant, under the 'duv' maker code, which first began production in early 1944 upon ceasing production of the G43's predecessor - the Gewehr 41(W).

This is a textbook original rifle, which was discovered in Austria a number of years ago, and still features things such as the desirable Durofol Bakelite top handguard - unique to manufacture by BLM.

With fully matching serial numbers throughout, including the wooden stock, and the rifle also comes complete with an original wartime marked 'gcb K43' 10-round box magazine.

An integral sniper scope rail is affixed to the right-hand side of the receiver on this one, designed to accept a 4x ZF4 sniper scope.

Indeed, an original wartime 'dow' coded ZF4 scope is also included, fitted with a later reproduction mount, as shown, to allow it to be setup in its sniper configuration.

Ultimately, the condition of this G43 remains exactly as any serious collector of WWII era small arms should want - full original wartime finish, with no postwar refinishing etc.

Very seldom seen on the UK market at all, yet alone in such a full original wartime state  - and one that would surely form a centrepiece of any deact collection.

This item comes with its EU/GB deactivation certificate, and retains full moving bolt carrier (locks back on safety catch), trigger, main swivel safety, detachable magazine etc.

**Shipping is only available within mainland UK and is to be arranged upon purchase (please disregard the total stated by the automated checkout).

***Proof of age (18+) will also be required upon ordering.
