A very nice original battle pack or Tragschlaufe sleeve which comes complete with 20 individual boxes still stored inside!
This example is now empty, but each box would have once contained 15 rounds of 7.92x57mm Patronen s.S. Lackierte Hülsen (ball rounds with lacquered cases) for use with the MG34/42, Mauser K98 etc.
The main sleeve still retains the original canvas cord and factory label with the matching maker code 'P', denoting production by Polte-Werke, Magdeburg, and is dated 1940.
A great item for any weapons display or to fit inside an original wooden ammo crate!
